This Friday, take a chance and walk down the aisle—520 South First Street, downtown San José and watch us Tie the Knot: San José Museum of Quilts and Textiles and some of us poets from the San José Poetry Festival 2016: Breaking Borders.
Six poets will be reading our Poetry “Wows”—Love, Wedding, and Beyond in two sessions from 7:30 p.m.-8:50 p.m. in each of the three exhibiting areas at the San José Museum of Quilts and Textiles, this First Friday. in September.
7:30 p.m.—David Eisbach (marriage/ divorce); Jerry Dyer (Falling in and out of love); Pushpa MacFarlane (happiness / unhappiness)
8:10 p.m.—Leslie Hoffman (Love); Charlotte Muse (commitment); Dennis Noren (Family)
We’ll be sprinkling our poetry around like confetti. Please do come by to listen to our poems while you cruise down the aisles and look at the gorgeous wedding dress, at the wonderful exhibition Tie the Knot at the San José Museum of Quilts and Textiles.
